andrewbroad 11 March 2010 Congratulations to flakothedog for improving the JSW world all-time high to *104* 22m23s, but it would take an unbelievable performance to do the same for MM, beating the superman that is jetsetdanny!
jongtfc 10 March 2010 Getting problems with submitting a new jsw endurance time
flakothedog 09 March 2010 I'm over halfway there, jetsetdanny. Just a matter of time...
andrewbroad 07 March 2010 The Gold Medal will have to wait a little longer, as I'll have to play my best-ever game, and pass Cavern 43 for my first time ever in competition, if I am to beat flakothedog's 88897.
andrewbroad 07 March 2010 I have taken the Manic Miner Silver Medal with 49475, after losing my lives in Caverns 18 (the usual reason), 24 (stupid lapse of concentration) and 27 (a slow start spoiled my timing).
andrewbroad 06 March 2010 A bit more effort required tonight, but I have regained the Bronze Medals for both modes of JSW. I was actually playing for Normal Mode completion, but my form was really poor.
andrewbroad 06 March 2010 You can, but you don't even have to. In a nutshell, the solution is to go up the middle, then right, then down, then up the trellis.
oscaralgar 06 March 2010 Can anyone help out with Manic Miner...I am currently stuck on cavern 15 (The Bank). Can you jump over the envelope? Thanks, Oscar
andrewbroad 02 March 2010 I've also grabbed an easy Bronze Medal in Jet Set Willy (Normal Mode), whilst already holding Bronze in Manic Miner, but the other games will have to wait for my assault on the podia...
andrewbroad 02 March 2010 Cheese, Louise: after hardly playing at all for weeks, I have just registered a score of 5185 - my second-highest of all time - to regain the Gold Medal.
andrewbroad 28 February 2010 I should have kept JSW64: Flash Manic Miner to myself, but when jetsetdanny came up with the idea independently, I had to reveal that I was already working on it.
flakothedog 28 February 2010 Thank you. I would like to dedicate my achievement to EmuZWin2.7 spectrum emulator, to my wife for her support, and to Andrew Broad for his speccy conversion of JSW64: Flash Manic Miner!
andrewbroad 27 February 2010 I had feared for the last few months that this day was imminent. Congratulations to flakothedog for overtaking my Manic Miner all-time personal high of 83092 with 88897.
flakothedog 25 February 2010 Yes, I read the posts in the MM forum. Brings a nice new slant to the games.

Instructions
The aim of Sudoku is to fill each square in the grid with a number from 1-9,
without any number appearing more than once in the same row, column, or 3x3 group of squares.
Sudoku does not require any adding or subtracting - it is a game of problem solving,
where you use logic and deduction rather than mathematics.
Check back tomorrow for a new puzzle, and the solutions to the puzzle above.
Explanation of difficulties
EASY - You won't have to do any backtracking, and you're given extra numbers to start you off. MODERATE - You won't have to do any backtracking, but you are only given the minimal amount of numbers required to complete the puzzle. HARD - Some backtracking may be required.
Backtracking
This is when you reach a point when you can't deduce the next number by logic alone, therefore you will have to
try one of two or more numbers and backtrack if it is incorrect (remember there is only one solution to each puzzle).
Solutions to yesterday's games (Number 399) are displayed below.
