The easiest and most efficient solution is to take the most central item first, and then proceed to traverse the screen anticlockwise.

Congratulations to cro-tica for taking the Manic Miner Gold Medal with 50717, and becoming one of apparently only six players ever to reach Cavern 28 (all-time No.5 azzubayr reached C.27 with 50947).

Hi thunder, if you've tried enabling Java like Andew's said, you might not have Java installed. Click the FAQ link at the top for more steps you can try.

Have you enabled Java in your browser, and either allowed all sites to use Java, or trusted both www.darnkitty.com and darnkitty.g2-tech.co.uk to do so?

DKFCC102SETUP.EXE V1.02 (503 KB)

Instructions for use

To learn how to use this program to create your flash cards, a walkthrough is presented. The student who is setting up this walkthrough is going to create a file to help him or her learn the Spanish numbers from 1 - 10, and some common words representing Spanish colours.

  1. When creating a flash card file, the first thing you should do is set the languages for this new file. Select "Edit" from the main menu, followed by "Set Languages...". In this example we are going to create flashcards for learning Spanish.
  2. Enter in the languages used in this set of cards, and click OK.
  3. Now, you will need to add a new category. Select the New Category button and enter a name for the new category.
  4. Notice how the name of the current category appears on the title bar of the form.
  5. The time has come to enter in the flash cards!
Enter one flash card on each line. Enter the first language in the first column, and the second language in the second column. You can use either the mouse, the arrow keys or the TAB key to move around the grid.
  6. The two numbers at the end represent the difficulty of this card. If you want this card to appear more often, you would enter a lower number. If you want this card to appear less often, you would enter a higher number. Until you are familiar with the flash cards application, it is recommended to leave these numbers at their default value (45).
  7. Let's add another category, by clicking the New Category button , and entering a name for the new category.
  8. And let's add some words to this new category.
  9. Click the save button to save your work. Give your file a name, and save it somewhere on your computer.
  10. To transfer this file from your computer to your mobile phone, please follow the instructions in the guide.

You're complete! Now, you can use the Darnkitty Flash Cards application to improve your vocabulary!
